IPCC report 2021

The Intergovernmental panel on climate change reports on alarming alteration in the earths climate using the words widespread, rapid and intensifying.

Approximately 1.1°C of the warming over the past century can be attributed to human activity. Global temperature increase is estimated to reach 1.5°C as soon as the year 2040. But the crisis is not just about temperature increase. Climate change is affecting rainfall patterns, coastal sea level rise, permafrost thawing, marine heatwaves and urban areas with heat waves that have deadly impact on some and infrastructure damages from flooding.
