Gunmen abuse UN staff in Sudan

Armed men stormed homes of UN staff and employees of international organizations in Khartoum, Sudan’s capital, on Tuesday. According to a UN document, viewed by CNN, men and women were separated, sexual assault occurred and there was one incident of rape reported. The United Nations, founded in 1945, has a country team in Sudan comprised of 28 agencies, funds, programmes, missions and offices.
